Chapter 1
It all began with Lio.
When our son Lio outgrew his cot, we faced a decision that should have been simple: finding him a new bed. A bed that wasn't just a piece of furniture but a safe retreat. A place where he could snuggle up and where we could read stories together in the evening.
Chapter 2
The search for the ‘nest feeling'.
We spent weeks leafing through catalogues and visiting furniture stores. What we found was sobering. Either the typical hard wooden beds with cold bars, or bulky constructions that simply didn't suit our modern home.
We asked ourselves: why does a safe children's bed always have to be so angular? Why are there no beds as soft and beautiful as a good upholstered bed for adults, yet offering the protection a toddler needs?
Chapter 3
If the perfect bed doesn't exist – we'll build it ourselves.
Tamara, with her eye for design and aesthetics, and Sandro, with his insistence on uncompromising quality and function – we knew we could do this better. Not just for Lio, but for all the parents who are tired of compromising between safety and style.
We wanted to create a bed that feels like a hug. A place with no hard edges, but with organic shapes and fall protection that fits naturally into the design.
Chapter 4
From the first sketch to the Mila Cloud.
After countless designs, material tests in Switzerland and a search for the best manufacturers in Europe, the moment finally came: the Mila Cloud was born. An upholstered designer children's bed offering exactly what we had always wanted for Lio:

Today Mila is more than a family project. It is our promise to you that you no longer have to choose between a safe place to sleep and a beautiful home. We develop every product as if it were for our own son – with an eye for detail, Swiss design expertise and the knowledge of how precious a quiet night is for us parents.

The move from the cot to the first ‘big' bed was completely stress-free thanks to Mila. With the low entry height and the protective side walls, our son accepted the change straight away.
At last we're all sleeping through the night again! Our little daughter feels safe and we no longer have to worry about her rolling out of bed.
We spent a long time looking for a children's bed that didn't look like plastic. The workmanship is excellent and the fabric feels wonderful.
