Our Story: How a search became the "Mila Cloud".

It all started with Lio.

When our son Lio outgrew his crib, we faced a decision that should have sounded quite simple: We were looking for a new bed for him. A bed that is not just a piece of furniture, but a safe retreat. A place where he can snuggle up and where we can read stories together in the evening.

The search for that "nesting instinct."

We spent weeks poring over catalogs and visiting furniture stores. But what we found was sobering. It was either the typical, hard wooden beds with cold bars or bulky constructions that visually just didn't fit into our modern home.

We asked ourselves: Why does a safe crib always have to be so "edgy"? Why are there no beds that are as soft and aesthetic as a high-quality upholstered bed for adults, but at the same time offer the protection a toddler needs?

If the perfect bed doesn't exist, we'll build it ourselves.

Tamara with her eye for design and aesthetics, and Sandro with his demand for uncompromising quality and functionality – we knew we could do better. Not just for Lio, but for all parents who are tired of compromising between safety and style.

We wanted to create a bed that felt like a hug. A place without hard edges, but with organic forms and a guard rail that seamlessly integrates into the design.

From the first sketch to Mila Cloud.

After countless designs, material tests in Switzerland, and the search for the best manufacturers in Europe, it was finally here: The Mila Cloud was born. An upholstered designer cot that offers exactly what we always wanted for Lio:

  • Safety that doesn't require bars.
  • Aesthetics that make the nursery the most beautiful room in the house.

Today, Mila is more than just a family project. It is our promise to you that you no longer have to choose between a safe sleeping place and a beautiful home. We develop every product as if it were for our own son – with attention to detail, Swiss design expertise, and the knowledge of how precious a peaceful night is for us parents.
